Alice

In 2005, Alice Weiser was looking for a new adventure and took a job with Coastal Beverage at the Wilmington office. She soon fell in love with the Coastal brand and has been part of the Crew ever since. She started out as a staff accountant—then worked as an office manager—then discovered her passion six years ago when she became a business systems specialist in IT. Today, Alice is known for her always-positive attitude, and when people ask her how she’s doing, she always says, “Fabulous.”

For Alice, Coastal Beverage has been a personal development experience, guided by multiple mentors. “As an office manager, I learned how to work through conflict, and Doug Treadway helped mold and shape me. Rich Garner is also someone I cherish and value—I can bounce ideas off him, and we talk them through. CBC is a well-established, family-owned business—even Tee himself started from the ground up as a merchandiser, in warehouse, delivery, office, etc. And the whole culture is homey and family-like. CBC just never feels ‘corporate.’”

Working in a culture of care means a lot to Alice. “The Coastal Crew helps employees who are in trouble, and the company takes care of people. I love participating in this and feel blessed to be a part of a company that operates this way!”
